Abstract RU 2724585 C2

FIELD: nutraceutical agent.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a probiotic composition for intestinal microflora restoration and for preventing the syndrome of excessive bacterial growth and diarrhea, including antibiotic-associated diarrhea and Clostridium dificile-associated diarrhea. Composition is in form of capsule, containing a dry mixture of probiotic bifidobacteria Bifidobacterium longum and Bifidobacterium bifidum and probiotic lactobacilli Lactobacillus rhamnosus in amount of 0.05 to 0.1 g, as well as Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast lysate in amount of 0.0005 g and nutriceutically acceptable auxiliary components, including microcrystalline cellulose and a nutriceutically acceptable stearic acid salt in amount of 0.002–0.004 g, selected from calcium of stearate and magnesium stearate, wherein content in said composition of each of probiotic bifidobacteria species, including Bifidobacterium longum and Bifidobacterium bifidum, is not less than 1x108 CFU per 1 gram of dry mixture, content of probiotic lactobacilli Lactobacillus rhamnosus is also not less than 1x108 CFU per 1 gram of dry mixture. Group of inventions also relates to a method of producing a probiotic composition.

EFFECT: group of inventions ensures preservation of viability and useful properties of probiotic bacteria both during manufacture and for a long period of time (for 3 years, as well as at end of 24 months of storage, the viability of the probiotic bacteria contained in the probiotic composition under the invention is maintained at a high level of at least 90 %).
