FIELD: railway automation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway automation, telemechanics and communications. The locomotive safety device contains a microprocessor control unit with a safe two-channel architecture, in which the output of the frequency signal of the internal safe control circuit is connected to the input of a resonant power amplifier, the output of which is connected through a rectifier, a smoothing filter and the first wired communication line to the electro-pneumatic valve winding of the train braking system, in which one of the closing contacts of its internal contact group is connected in series to the locomotive traction control circuit. The output of the resonant power amplifier is connected via a second wired communication line through a high-frequency transformer to the control input of the key element, the output circuit of which is connected in series to the locomotive traction control circuit. In this case, the second wired communication line is laid along the locomotive with the possibility of protecting its wiring connections from unauthorized access and is made in the form of a coaxial cable line or in the form of a line with an intertwined shielded pair of wires.
EFFECT: increased security against dangerous failures caused by unauthorized alterations of field connections.
