FIELD: drying machinery.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drying equipment and can be used in the food and chemical industry. The two-section drum dryer contains a loading device, an unloading chamber, a coolant supply pipe, an overflow diaphragm between the sections with the possibility of autonomous coaxial rotation of the sections by means of a closed planetary differential transmission. What is new is that each section is equipped with lifting-blade nozzles and a flat collector placed along the length of the sections in a vertical plane with holes for supplying coolant in the transverse direction; an intermediate chamber is installed between the first and second sections with an overflow diaphragm coaxially located in it, made in the form of a screw, the body of which is equipped with two rigidly fixed toothed rims and mounted in bearings pressed into the end flanges of each section; an intermediate and driven rows of satellites are installed in the intermediate chamber, and two half-cones are placed coaxially with the sections, one of which is rigidly fixed to the end flange of the first section with a large base, and a gear with internal teeth is rigidly fixed to the larger base of the other half-cone by means of a bolted connection; at the same time, the semi-cones are fixed with small bases to each other through the axes of an intermediate row of satellites mounted in bearings and interacting with another gear rim of the overflow diaphragm housing and a ring with internal teeth forming an internal planetary gear.

EFFECT: two-section drum dryer ensures uniform drying of the material under variable conditions, makes it possible to increase productivity and reduce energy consumption for the drying process.
