FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of heating gases or gas-liquid mixtures with associated generation of electric energy and can be used in petrochemical, gas processing, power and other industries. Generation of electric power in the proposed method is realized using an organic Rankine cycle and thermoelectric Seebeck effect.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method of operating a gas heater, which serves to heat gases or gas-liquid mixtures and produce electrical energy, in petrochemical, gas processing, power and other industries will increase the efficiency of the process, as well as to minimize economic costs for electrical energy required to ensure operability of electrical equipment included in the heater.
