FIELD: LCD technology.

SUBSTANCE: backlight for a liquid crystal display device consists of a flexible heat-conducting sheet on which an array of LED strips and/or linears is located, divided into at least two groups of LED strips and/or linears. Each group is controlled by a driver located on the back of the heat-conducting sheet and containing a logic input, a logic output, a multi-channel pulse width modulation controller, at least two power key controllers and at least one power key.

EFFECT: possibility of obtaining any size and any bend corresponding to the possible dimensions of liquid crystal matrices, by scaling the module, providing high brightness and improving the fault tolerance of the liquid crystal display device.
