SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for training the user's fine motor skills and can be used to develop writing or drawing skills, as well as to restore impaired, lost motor functions. The substance of the invention lies in a writing device, which contains a housing with a channel, inside which a rod is movably fixed, consisting of a tip and a tube, while part of the tip protrudes from the channel of the housing, which is characterized in that the tube is made of an elastically deformable material, and the size of the gap between the wall of the channel and the surface of the tube is equal to at least one length of that part of the tip of the rod that protrudes from the body channel.

EFFECT: simplifying the design of the writing device with a concomitant reduction in the risk of a defect in its components.
