FIELD: pipe welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for quality control of pipe welding. The method for quality control of pipe welding includes applying to the area free from the insulating layer a coating that can change its color to at least one other color when at least one corresponding color transition temperature for such a coating is reached, wherein the coating is applied in the middle of the section free from the insulating layer, at least one transition temperature is determined depending on the operating temperature of the pipe, inspection of the coating after welding and recognition of the welded joint as poor quality if the color of the coating changes to the color corresponding to the highest value of the transition temperature.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of quality control of welding pipes with internal lining.
