FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision landing, light aviation, transportation and generation of electric power by means of wind energy and can be used to control tethered and free flying soft wings on cord support. In this capacity, a control cord drive is proposed in the form of a reduction gear, which performs the function of a lever, or directly to the lever, to the front arm of which the free ends of one or more lines (or one or more rows) of cords are attached, and to the rear arm — the control cord. Front arm of such a reduction gear is made in the form of a cam of a variable radius, on which the free ends of one or more lines of cords are wound, and the rear arm is made in the form of a drum for winding the control cord or, in the simplest case, an elongated arm of the lever. Variable radius cam shape and reduction value are selected based on experimental data on forces at corresponding free ends as the control cord is pulled up so, that the tension force of the control cord is as much as possible compensated by the tension force of the free ends in the most critical mode in terms of the tension force of the control cord.
EFFECT: proposed invention enables to compensate for forces on control cords.
