SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas, petrochemical industries and can be used to determine the value of drop entrainment of hydrocarbon liquid from field low temperature separation units of natural gas. Method for determining drop entrainment of hydrocarbon liquid from field LTSU of natural gas consists in the fact that at the outlet of the end low-temperature separator of LTSU, a preliminary sample of natural gas is taken, which is subjected to two-stage low-temperature separation with its passage into a separation unit consisting of the first and second separation units and immersed in a thermocryostat bath. At the end of the two-stage low-temperature separation, determining the value of the preliminary mass of the separation unit m1, then the main sample of natural gas is taken at the outlet of the end low-temperature separator of the LTSU, which in the same order as the preliminary sample is subjected to two-stage low-temperature separation, after which the value of the main mass of the separation unit m2 is determined in an order similar to the procedure for determining the preliminary mass of the separation unit m1, thereafter, drop entrainment of hydrocarbon fluid from field LTSU is determined.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining drop entrainment of hydrocarbon liquid from a low-temperature separation unit.
