FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring equipment; it can be used for measuring the voltage modulation, generator excitation time, and time of generator voltage entrance to an adjustment zone. A digital meter of the amplitude modulation coefficient contains an indicator, an analogue-code converter, an input device, a microcontroller, a down voltage converter with galvanic isolation, and an analogue low-frequency filter. The first microcontroller input is connected to an output of the analogue-code converter. The first microcontroller output is connected to the indicator. The second microcontroller output is connected to the second input of the analogue-code converter. The third microcontroller output is connected to the second input of the input device. An input of the down voltage converter with galvanic isolation is an input of the meter, and an output is connected to the first input of the input device. An input of the analogue low-frequency filter is connected to an output of the input device, and an output is connected to the first input of the analogue-code converter. A control unit is introduced, outputs of which are connected in the following way: the first one – to the second microcontroller input, and the second one – to the third input of the input device. The microcontroller contains algorithms that allow for measuring generator excitation time and time of generator voltage entrance to the adjustment zone.
EFFECT: expansion of the functionality with increase in the accuracy of measurement.
