ANTI-RAM BARRIER OF BOOM GATE TYPE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC E01F13/12 

FIELD: traffic limitation devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of restricting movement of transport of a boom gate type, designed to stop vehicles of all categories in case of unauthorized passage to protected, restricted facilities and territories. Anti-ram barrier of the boom gate type includes a beam with a power cable made inside it, supports and a base, inside which there are channels with an additional power cable laid along them. At points of attachment of supports to base, in places of bending of additional power cable, there are rotary rollers with diameter equal to 2–6 diameters of additional power cable.

EFFECT: improved anti-ram properties of the barrier due to uniform distribution of arising stresses along the entire power cable and, as a result, uniform distribution of interaction energy during dynamic loading between all power elements of the anti-ram barrier.
