FIELD: cutting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus (1) for laser or plasma cutting of parts made of rolled sheet material. The cutting position (10) is equipped with at least one laser or plasma cutting head (11) which moves in the working cutting area (12) between the input (10') of the cutting position and the output (10'') of said position along the longitudinal direction X of supply of said material and is located above the chamber (13) for collecting particles of the sheet material form in the process of cutting. The means of positioning a section of the sheet material in the working area on the cutting plane m are configured to retain a section of the sheet material M in a locked state on the cutting plane m during cutting operations, retaining said material in a suspended state and spreading above said chamber (13) for collecting particles of the material. Said means of positioning comprise three separate locking apparatuses (21), (22), (23), wherein each of said apparatuses is configured to execute a reversing action to lock a transverse section of the sheet material and for a section of sheet material located on the cutting plane to pass through said apparatus. The first locking apparatus (21) is located near the input, the second apparatus (22) is located near the output (10''), and the third apparatus (23) is located between the first and second apparatuses. At least the third apparatus (23) can move in the longitudinal direction X in the space between the other two apparatuses (21), (22). The electronic control unit (100) is programmed to coordinate the actuation of the three blocking apparatuses (21), (22), (23) to lock and unlock the sheet material so that the section of sheet material inside the cutting position can be retained under a tensile stress on the cutting plane m by combining the action of the first locking apparatus (21) with the action of the third apparatus (23) or the action of the second locking apparatus (22), and thus the third locking apparatus (23) is capable of moving freely relative to said section of the sheet material, retaining said section under a tensile stress.
EFFECT: provided possibility of cutting parts made of rolled sheet material by laser or plasma.
