FIELD: monitoring system.
SUBSTANCE: monitoring system designed to monitor the conditions of a band circulating in a paper making machine is equipped with: a detecting device capable of detecting at least one parameter indicative of the conditions of the band; and a moving assembly configured to move the detecting device along a direction transversal to the circulating direction of the band and containing a cable moving device.
EFFECT: monitoring system is proposed for monitoring the conditions of a band circulating in a paper making machine and a paper machine comprising this system.
