FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of a lubricant-coolant concentrate, which is used in the form of aqueous solutions during mechanical treatment of metals, in particular at operations of blade and abrasive processing of all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and their alloys. Disclosed is a method of producing a coolant concentrate, involving successive mixing and mechanical mixing in a reactor at room temperature of the following components: copper imidazoline stearate, acetate (triethanolamine oleate), triethanolamine oleate (stearate), triethanolamine, followed by addition of the following components into the obtained mixture with constant stirring with interval of 5–10 minutes: polyethylene glycol, antifoaming agent, oxyethylated nonylphenol, Trilon B and water; mixing the obtained solution in reactor for 30 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

EFFECT: proposed method of producing concentrate of lubricant-coolant increases resistance of cutting tool, improves quality of processed surface; increase anticorrosion, bactericidal, detergent, antiwear, antiscoring properties; reduced tendency to foam formation during long-term operation.
