FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry, namely to lubricating and cooling technological means, and can be used in metal cutting and finishing and hardening surface treatment of parts made of steel and non-ferrous metals by cutting and diamond smoothing. Said lubricating and cooling technological means for metal cutting and diamond smoothing contains triethanolamine, according to the invention, additionally contains lubricant graphite, polyoxyethylene glycol ethers of higher fatty alcohols, low molecular weight polyethylene glycol 400, industrial oil I-50 in the following ratio of components, wt. %: triethanolamine 10–15, lubricant graphite 3–5, polyoxyethylene glycol ethers of higher fatty alcohols 10–20, polyethylene glycol low molecular weight 400 30–40, industrial oil I-50 30–40.
EFFECT: technical result of the present invention is to improve the durability of the metalworking tool and reduce the surface roughness of parts by improving the lubricating and anti-wear properties of lubricating and cooling technological means, leading to an increase in the efficiency of its use.
