SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, to abdominal surgery, and can be used to drain the contents from the upper digestive tract. The device for temporary drainage of the damaged small intestine includes a pad with walls along the outer edge and a straight round-section nozzle in the center of the pad with an external thread at the base, a hydrophobic polyurethane sponge in the form of a coil with a through hole in the center corresponding to the nozzle of the pad, a washer with two nozzles directed one way from the plane of the washer, a clamping nut, the dimensions and shape of the pad, washers, bases of the polyurethane sponge correspond to each other. The method for temporary drainage of the damaged small intestine is also revealed.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a reduction in the traumatism of the damaged small intestine without its additional mobilization, preservation of the passage of intestinal contents, prevention of maceration of the wound edges by chyme, achieved due to the tightness of the device.
