SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cleansing compositions for skin and hands. Foaming device with a manual pump contains a foaming cleansing composition for skin and hands containing the following components in terms of the total composition of the cleansing composition: a) from 0.5 to 10 wt. % sulphonated castor oil; b) from 0.1 to 1 wt. % xanthan gum; c) from 0 to 5 wt. % of at least one non-aqueous solvent; d) from 1 to 30 wt. % of at least one surfactant; e) from 0 to 3 wt. % of at least one emulsifier; f) from 1 to 20 wt. % of at least one exfoliating agent; g) from 0 to 2 wt. % of at least one preservative; h) from 0 to 2 wt. % of at least one pH modifier; i) from 0 to 10 wt. % auxiliary substances and/or additives and j) water to 100 wt. %, wherein the composition does not contain carboxymethyl cellulose. Also disclosed is a method for cleaning the skin of a subject.
