FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to stabilize the head of the ulna in the distal radioulnar joint in children. Longitudinal splitting and sampling of a portion of the autotendon of the ulnar extensor of the hand are performed. In the distal section of the metaphyseal zones of the radius and ulna, through intraosseous channels are made in the transverse direction. A portion of the autotendon of the ulnar extensor is passed through the formed channels of the radius and ulna. The autotendon is fixed on the ulna in the hypercorrection position.
EFFECT: method provides increased efficiency of treatment of distal radioulnar joint instability due to elimination of recurrent instability in the distal radioulnar joint by eliminating dislocation of the ulnar head.
