SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used to prevent development of severe hand deformities in patients with rheumatoid arthritis at early stages of wrist joint involvement. X-shaped suturing of extensor carpi radialis longus and extensor carpi ulnaris tendons is performed. An ulnar head is provided with a groove to accommodate an extensor carpi ulnaris tendon and a canal for a knotless anchor. An anchor is installed and the tenodesis extensor tendons are sutured to it until the head of the ulna is brought down to the native position.

EFFECT: method provides stabilization of wrist joints against the background of ulnar head instability in rheumatoid arthritis with minimum loss of range of motion in the joint, is joint-preserving and does not involve bone resections due to formation of a groove for placement of an extensor carpi ulnaris tendon and a canal for a knotless anchor, to which the tenodesic extensor tendons are sutured, as a result of which the ulnar head is reduced to the native position, and the extensor carpi ulnaris tendon is in the native position.
