METHOD OF FORMING AN OPTICAL DEVICE WHICH PROVIDES FLICKER OPTICAL EFFECTS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B42D25/41 B42D25/324 B42D25/342 G02B3/00

Abstract RU 2769163 C2

FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of forming an optical security device, wherein the method comprises steps of: providing a first consumable arrangement of focusing elements located on top of the arrangement of pictogram elements; form a pattern from a first contrast material and a pattern from a second contrast material on or in pictogram elements by directional curing at a first curing angle of at least a first contrast material on the pictogram elements or in them through a consumable assembly of focusing elements; placing a permanent arrangement of focusing elements on top of the arrangement of iconic elements so that the iconic elements project at least one artificial image, when viewed through a permanent arrangement of focusing elements; wherein the permanent arrangement of the focusing elements has a first permanent lens pattern, which forms the lens-pictogram pattern mismatch between the first permanent lens pattern and the patterns of the first and second contrasting materials; and the consumable assembly of focusing elements has a first consumable lens template that matches the template of the first contrast material at a first curing angle; wherein at least one artificial image is a projection of templates of first and second contrasting materials when viewed from at least one angle; and wherein at least one artificial image creates a color transition effect, which corresponds to a shift of the viewing angle.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of forming an optical device which provides flicker optical effects.
