FIELD: cooling.

SUBSTANCE: refrigerant condenser, characterized by the presence of a plurality of sections of straight pipes ending in segmented headers, each subsequent section is characterized by a total cross-sectional area, which is smaller than that of the initial section, wherein the cross-sectional area of each coolant passage in said second condenser section is less than the cross-sectional area of each coolant passage in said first condenser section. Total cross-section of the initial section is large enough to significantly reduce the vapor velocity, which, therefore, leads to a decrease in the coolant pressure drop. Total cross-sectional area is set so that the steam velocity at the inlet is sufficient to establish the heat transfer coefficient on the inner surface, which is greater than the heat transfer coefficient on the outer surface, while limiting the drop in internal pressure for the required heat removal.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of heat transfer.
