SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road barriers for highways. The double-sided barrier road barrier for highways contains vertical posts with two rows of longitudinal two-wave beams fixed to them by means of transverse consoles-struts, made in the form of a channel with end elements in the form of brackets. Mounting holes are made on the vertical wall of the channel for fastening to the road barrier post. Mounting holes are made on the vertical wall of the end bracket-like elements for fastening the longitudinal beams of the road barrier. The console-strut is made 1000 mm long and has two groups of mounting holes located symmetrically relative to the vertical axis of the console-strut and providing the possibility of two-position fastening of the console-strut to the guardrail post with an offset of Δ = 400 mm, equal to the track width of one wheel of the vehicle. It is preferable that each group of mounting holes for fastening to the road barrier post includes three holes located at the vertices of equilateral triangles, the center of which is on the horizontal axis of the spacer console, or that the diameter of the fastening holes for fastening to the posts of the road barrier and to the longitudinal beams of the road barrier fencing was 18 mm.
