FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for manufacturing a steel tape. The device contains a continuous flow heating furnace, a sock connected to the continuous flow heating furnace, a hot melt bath, a roller made with the possibility of changing the direction of the trajectory of the steel tape after it passes through the sock, wherein this roller is a submersible roller in the manufacture of the steel tape by immersing it in the hot melt bath, and a deflecting roller in the manufacture of an annealed steel tape. In addition, the device is made with the possibility of selecting a submersible roller or a deflecting roller, depending on the type of a steel tape being manufactured and installing the selected roller in a given position. An additional deflecting roller is installed in the device, made with the possibility of changing the trajectory of the steel tape in front of the heating furnace, wherein this roller allows one to set the steel tape into the continuous heating furnace or bypassing the continuous heating furnace, depending on the type of a steel tape being manufactured, and installing the roller in a given position. In addition, the bath is made with the possibility of filling it with a quenching medium as a hot melt.
EFFECT: compact design of the device and possibility of implementing various heat processing modes, including tempering, recrystallization annealing or hardening of the tape in one installation.
