FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in production of cold-rolled products with two-phase structure for packing tape. Method of producing cold-rolled steel strips for packing tape includes hot rolling of steel slabs with production of strips, their coiling, etching, cold rolling, thermal treatment in continuous action unit and temper rolling. Hot rolling of strips is completed at temperature of 840–900 °C, coiling temperature is 580–660 °C, cold rolling of strips is carried out with total relative reduction of 60–75%, heat treatment is carried out by heating cold-rolled strips to temperature of 750–820 °C, holding at this temperature for 100–300 s and subsequent cooling at rate of 20–150 °C/s, temper rolling is carried out with reduction from 0.1 to 1.0%, then reheating to temperature of 200–500 °C with subsequent exposure for 100–300 s. For hot rolling there used are steel slabs containing, wt.%: carbon 0.10–0.20, silicon not more than 0.15, manganese 2.00–3.00, aluminium 0.01–0.07, chromium 0.20–0.70, nickel not more than 0.06, copper not more than 0.06, molybdenum 0.1–0.3, niobium 0.02–0.05, nitrogen not more than 0.010, sulphur is not more than 0.005, iron and impurities are the rest. Martensite-bainitic structure with ferrite residues is formed in cold-rolled steel strips.
EFFECT: production of cold-rolled products for packing tape with thickness of less than 0,9 mm with two-phase structure, characterized by increased complex of mechanical properties.
