FIELD: electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fields of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering, can be used in high-power high-speed electric machines with an external rotor. According to the first option: in an inverted electric machine with a rotor (2) in the form of a hollow cylinder and with an end surface in the form of a disk, the installation of the rotor (2) from the left end surface is carried out on the bearing assembly (4), and from the right end surface it is carried out on n rollers (5). Each roller (5) is a disk made of durable and lightweight material mounted on a bearing unit (4). In this case, the fastenings of the frame (3) and the stator, electrical outlets and tubes of the cooling system (6) are located between the rollers (5). According to the second option: the installation of the rotor (2) on both sides of the magnetic system is carried out on n rollers (5).
EFFECT: increasing the speed of rotation of the rotor, increasing rigidity, reducing the air gap and, as a result, increasing the maximum power of the electric machine, invention also provides possibility of increasing the overall dimensions of the rotor while reducing the probability of the bearing assembly failing to operate.
