FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shaping of bottoms from sheet workpieces. Bottoms are formed by rotary drawing without forced thinning. At the first transition of rotary drawing using at least one roller, a gap between the roller and the holder of the first transition is provided equal to 110 % SP, where SP is the thickness of the round sheet workpiece, and a semi-finished part is formed, including an end flat part, spherical part with radius Rsph and connecting them transition section, made with radius of curvature on length L=20–30SP. At the second pass of rotary drawing using at least one roller there is provided a gap between the roller and the holder of the second transition equal to 110 % SP, and the part is formed.
EFFECT: as a result, stability of parts manufacturing is increased, as well as degree of repeatability of geometrical dimensions of the part and difference in thickness along its generatrix.
