SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of metals from corrosion and can be used to protect a part of an electronic vaping apparatus from corrosion, wherein the method includes preparation of a coating mixture made for protecting the surface from corrosion. The method also includes coating the surface with a protective coating based on the coating mixture. Coating is executed by one of electrodeposition, submersion, spraying, and vapour phase deposition. The coating mixture contains silane and a polymer.
EFFECT: protection of metal parts from damage caused by corrosion.
