FIELD: automotive industry.

SUBSTANCE: disc brake for a vehicle having the first and second brake pads (2a, 2b), as well as a brake disc (1) located between them and a brake bracket covering the brake disc (1), having a brake bracket housing (6) in which a pressure device is located. The pressure device includes a pressure element (3), which can be pressed against the first brake pad (2a). In this case, a bellow (5) is provided to protect the inner area of the brake bracket housing from contamination, and this bellow (5) is fixed by the first end area (5a) on the brake bracket housing (6), and the second end area (5b) on the system (7) made of sheet metal from a plate (8) made of sheet metal and located coaxially to it, as well as connected to it with the closure of the ring material (9) made of sheet metal. In this case, the plate (8) made of sheet metal is located between the end side of the pressure element (3) and the first brake pad (2a). The sheet metal ring (9) is located between the bellow (5) and the brake pad (2a) to protect the bellow (5) from thermal radiation generated during braking processes on the brake pads (2a, 2b) and the brake disc (1). In this case, the sheet metal ring (9) has at least one cutout (11) to reduce its bending stiffness.

EFFECT: creation of an improved sheet metal system for a disc brake, as well as an improved disc brake having a sheet metal system.
