ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM OF TWO-STAGE WATER HEATER IN VENDING MACHINE FOR HOT DRINKS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G05D23/19 

FIELD: vending machines.

SUBSTANCE: regulation of the temperature of water supplied by a two-stage water heater having an external water heating boiler with the first heater as the first stage and an internal channel (heater to accelerate water heating) with the second heater as the second stage is described. A control circuit is based on the measured temperature of water in the boiler, and it controls the first heater. The second circuit calculates the control temperature of heater 22 to accelerate water heating based on the temperature deviation in an outlet (the difference between the measured temperature in the water outlet and the set temperature in the water outlet) and controls the second heater based on the deviation between the control temperature of water in section 22 to accelerate water heating and the measured temperature of water in section 22 to accelerate water heating. The control temperature of water in the water outlet depends on the type of drink (e.g., espresso, cappuccino) and includes a temperature profile with different temperatures for various additional drinks (e.g., coffee, milk). The physical response time and inertia of the heater are taken into account, and sudden changes in the control temperature in the hot water outlet are predicted.

EFFECT: obtaining an electronic control system of two-stage water heater in vending machine for hot drinks.
