FIELD: armored vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of armored vehicles and can be used in the designs of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, tractors, other military tracked and wheeled vehicles. The disconnection mechanism is installed in the drive and has a rod equipped with a pad, which plays the role of a limiter. The mechanism is held in the interlocked state by balls that are in a stalled position. The balls lock the rod, which, when moving, releases them from the stalled position, and the tip moves under the action of the pull-off springs of the drive, uncoupling the drive. In this case, the balls move inside the tip along the rod to the pad located at the end of the stem. When the balls reach the pad, the further movement of the tip in the mechanism stops. At the same time, the tip and balls do not fall out of the sleeve. That means the shutdown mechanism does not fail. To bring the mechanism to its original (interlocked) state, it is enough to push the tip into the sleeve and the disconnection mechanism will again assume a stalled position.
EFFECT: preventing the possibility of pulling out the tip with balls after uncoupling (with failure) of the disconnection mechanism during transportation or during installation on the product.
