SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of tie-in into pipelines under pressure. Embodiments of the polyethylene (PE) pipe maintenance system of the present disclosure may include a fusible PE fitting (F) forming a branch connection with a section or section (P) of PE pipeline, a valve (10) connected to the fitting and containing quick connection means/disconnection, and the device, made with the possibility of connection with the valve and containing the reciprocal means of quick connection/disconnection. Quick couplers provide the ability to perform a full range of jobs, including cleaning, fusion, cooling, tapping under pressure, plugging and finishing. Compression is not used. The means for quick connection/disconnection may include a first curved profile part 20 and a second curved profile part 40 corresponding to the first part. The apparatus may be a drilling or pressure tapping apparatus (30T), a plugging apparatus (30P) or a finishing apparatus (30C) and related tools.

EFFECT: valve and apparatus weigh less than the prototypes and are faster and easier to use.
