FIELD: pipeline transport of liquids and gases.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation of fluids and gases and can be used for connection of branches to active pipeline without reducing pressure in it. Method of tapping under pressure into pipelines from low-pressure polyethylene is performed using polyethylene tee-joint for tapping under pressure. At one of outputs of T-joint there is a steel insert for installation of drilling rig. Steel insert is made with possibility of installation into it of internal plug and external plug.
EFFECT: invention enables to perform tie-in under pressure into pipelines made of low-pressure polyethylene without stopping network operation at any pressure in network, mounting a polyethylene tee vertically and horizontally at any angle, which reduces the cost of mounting the tie-in unit and enables installation thereof under the roadway.
