FIELD: polymers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polypropylene-based composition for for producing cast products, containing, relative to the total weight of the composition, (A) 53.8 to 79.8 wt.% crystalline isotactic polypropylene, (B) 10 to 20 wt.% elastomer based on an ethylene copolymer with an α-olefin containing 4 to 10 carbon atoms, (C) 10 to 25 wt.% one or multiple homopolymers of ethylene and/or statistical thermoplastic copolymers of ethylene with α-olefins containing 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and (D) a modifying system including 0.04 to 0.64 wt.% (D1) organic peroxide and 0.04 to 0.64 wt.% (D2) coagent constituting a vinyl monomer with three or more functional acrylate groups, and (E) 0.05 to 1.0 wt.% nucleating agent, and optional additives. The composition is produced by a two-stage method including the stage of producing a modified composition of a concentrate by mixing and compounding components in a melt using mixing equipment and an extruder. The resulting polypropylene-based composition has an optimal balance of properties, in particular, increased fluidity, improved impact strength. and rigidity, as well as transparency. The invention also relates to an application of the polypropylene-based composition for manufacturing cast products, as well as to a product based on the resulting composition.
