FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to dynamically vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer composition used for manufacture of articles found in the automotive, cable, electrical, shoe industry, as well as in the production of rubber products and consumer goods. Composition contains, based on 100 % by weight: from 5 to 50 % by weight of polypropylene and/or copolymers of propylene with olefins containing from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; from 40 to 85 % by weight of a nitrile-containing rubber; from 2 to 30 % by weight of polymer compatibilizers (compatibilizers), which are maleic products based on polypropylene, copolymers of ethylene and propylene and/or butadiene and styrene; from 2 to 40 % by weight of polymer elastifying agents; 0.1 to 3 % by weight of a peroxide initiator; from 1.0 to 10 % by weight of the vulcanization coagent; from 0 to 40 % by weight of ester plasticizers; from 0 to 10 % by weight of monofunctional monomers with terminal vinyl groups; composition containing from 0.05 to 10 % by weight of an aromatic amine modifier. Variants of methods for preparing such a composition, a method for producing an article based on it, and an article made or containing a composition according to the invention are also described.
EFFECT: preparation of a dynamically vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer composition (DTEP) having high physico-mechanical characteristics, in particular improved resistance to oil products (benzo and oil resistance), improved melt flow and elongation at break, as well as the possibility of increasing the frost resistance of DTEP using grades of butadiene-nitrile rubber with increased content of butadiene units.
