FIELD: space technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space technology, namely to devices for taking soil samples, such as regolith, frozen pieces of ice, etc., and can be used in the study of the moon, planets and comets. The device for extracting water on the moon contains a device for moving, a device for taking regolith soil, a sealed container made with the possibility of closing with a transparent sliding lid after filling with soil, a heat-insulated container for accumulating water connected on one side by a line with a check valve to a container with a transparent sliding cover, and on the other hand - with a docking device with the possibility of draining water. The device for movement consists of a single frame, to which wheel sets with lugs are attached, which is powered by an electrochemical generator and, as a backup, from a battery. The device for taking soil-regolith contains a cutter and a conveyor in a protective casing. The container has two screws with individual drives and a line with a dosing valve for injecting water into the container from a reserve tank located inside the water storage tank. A solar beam concentrator is installed above the container, and a solar battery connected to a radioisotope electric generator is installed above the tank. Between the single frame and the container is attached the drive of the container tipper, and between the frame and the conveyor - the drive of the orientation of the conveyor and the docking device. A video camera is attached above the docking device. A solar radiation sensor is installed above the solar battery, connected to a control system placed on a single frame.
EFFECT: possibility of extracting water from the soil of the Moon or planets is provided.
