METHOD FOR ENCODING DIGITAL INFORMATION IN A RADIO CHANNEL Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC H03M13/00 H04L27/18

Abstract RU 2770420 C1

FIELD: wireless communication systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication systems, namely to digital communication technology, and can be used to transmit discrete information over communication channels. The method for encoding digital information in a radio channel is that digital signals are emitted in the form of radio waves through the antenna unit. The antenna unit is made in the form of a single antenna. The digital signal is emitted in the form of a two-element signal consisting of two successive radio pulses - two slots n=2 of a sinusoidal shape, each of which can have several shifts S of the initial phases Δϕn, with the possibility of forming additional virtual slots. Each of the slots can be in one of three m=3 states, namely either "0" or "1", or be an empty slot in the absence of signal emission. Information bits "1" and "0" for their identification are transmitted at different frequencies, different from the central carrier frequency by increasing or decreasing the carrier frequency, respectively, by a fixed value Δf. Deviations from the carrier frequency for the first slot are Δf1, and for the second - Δf2, which is taken as a marking feature of slot numbers with the ability to track the sequence of their emission on the air and form an alphabet of transmitted messages in the form of a set B. The volume B depends on m=3 - the number of states of each of the two dibit elements and n - the number of dibit elements, including virtual ones.

EFFECT: improvement of transmission of discrete information over communication channels.
