METHOD OF TRANSMITTING INFORMATION OVER SHORT-WAVE LINK USING FREQUENCY-SHIFT KEYED SIGNALS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC H04L27/22

Abstract RU 2519011 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method for frequency-diverse transmission of discrete messages defines an algorithm of generating and processing signals that are amplitude- and frequency-shift keyed based on multi-position frequency-time coding of a multi-element symbol transmitted over frequency-diverse subchannels. Radio pulses transmitted over the frequency-diverse subchannels have a duration which is equal to one temporal position. The radio pulses are transmitted successively in time, once over each frequency-diverse subchannel during transmission of one symbol. The number of frequency-diverse subchannels is equal to the number of temporal positions of the signal over the duration of one message symbol. The value of the transmitted symbol depends on the value of frequency on which the radio pulse is transmitted.

EFFECT: high reliability of transmitting messages over radio links in conditions of high probability of deep selective fading and high probability of damage to a radio link by narrow-band and pulsed additive noise.
