FIELD: windows.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a window secured by clamping in an inhabited compartment, such as a cabin in a plane structure, wherein the window is configured to be locked in the window aperture in the event of a tear in the layers of the window. The window comprises a structural substrate called the inner substrate intended to face the receiving structure wherein the window should be secured, and has a side called the inner side. The structural substrate therein comprises multiple substrates arranged in the form of a multilayer structure. Said inner side of the inner substrate therein comprises at least one enveloped or enveloping retaining element, protruding therefrom and located at the edge or near the edge and along at least one of the sides of the window, intended to interact with at least one enveloping or enveloped retaining form, respectively, made in the receiving structure for the window. The enveloping element therein constitutes a receiving socket forming stopping planes for the enveloped element. The enveloped element must come to the stopped position in the socket parallel to the inner substrate and is locked in the lateral direction on the two sides thereof. Group of inventions also relates to an assembly containing a structure, such as a plane-type aircraft structure provided with at least one window aperture and the above window.
EFFECT: invention is intended to propose a fixture for a clamped window, excluding any risk of the window disconnecting from the window aperture structure, regardless of whether the window is glass or plastic.
