FIELD: space industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the landing systems of reusable space shuttle (RSS), mainly the stages of launch vehicles. The proposed system contains stationary supports connected by guides and a cable system for trapping RS with a fast-moving trap. The trap is made in the form of a frame with cables rigidly stretched inside it, forming catching cells, and is fixed at the inner ends of the cables. The mechanisms for moving the cables are mounted in pairs on supports one above the other. The trapping system is mainly multi-level.
EFFECT: increased reliability and safety of the RSS landing, improving the operational qualities and service life of the ground infrastructure.
