FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to helicopter structures. A single-rotor helicopter contains a fuselage, a main rotor, a main rotor shaft, a power plant with an engine and a main gearbox, an intermediate shaft connecting an output shaft of the main gearbox and the main rotor shaft, a skew machine and auxiliary units driven from the main gearbox. The axis of the output shaft of the main gearbox is located parallel to the construction horizontal of the fuselage and perpendicular to the axis of the main rotor shaft. The main rotor shaft of the helicopter, located vertically, is placed in a separate case on bearings protected from the environment by means of cuff seals. The intermediate shaft connecting the output shaft of the main gearbox and the main rotor shaft is located behind or in front of the flight from the main rotor shaft at an angle of 45° to axes of the output shaft of the main gearbox and the main rotor shaft. A tail boom of the helicopter is made with controllable stabilizers and rudders.
EFFECT: safety of helicopter operation is improved, power losses are reduced and speed and maneuverability of the helicopter are increased.
