FIELD: aviation; designs of rotary-wing aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: helicopter with two main propellers contains a fuselage, a power unit with a gearbox, located in the lower part of the fuselage. The engine air intake passes around the bearing axis through the fuselage to its upper part with access to open space. The tips of the blades of the upper and lower propellers are mechanically connected in pairs. The blade turning rods of the upper and lower rotors are mechanically connected to a common swashplate. The reaction moment of the rotors is balanced by the controlled thrust vector of the engine using a rotary engine nozzle, mounted pivotally with the ability to rotate using control wiring to rotate the helicopter around a vertical axis.
EFFECT: reduced size of the helicopter, reduction of the centre of gravity of the helicopter, exclusion of flutter, overlapping of the rotor blades.
