FIELD: locks.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a lock (1) for connecting two ends (2) of a chain. The blocking lock (1) in the locked state has two halves (5) of the blocking lock, which fit into each other with positive locking by means of a trunnion (8) and a socket (9) for the trunnion. The two halves (5) of the blocking lock are blocked with the formation of at least one receiving hole, preferably two receiving holes for accommodating the link (3) of the chain. The halves (5) of the blocking lock at their ends (7) fit into each other like a comb.
EFFECT: design is simplified.
