FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: cylindrical lock comprises casing pins (3) and cylinder pins (4), besides, cylinder pins are made on the end protruding into a channel (7) for a key as reading ledges (8), which are thinner than the diameter of the cylinder pin and are directed in longitudinal direction of the channel for the key. Besides, at least two pins of the cylinder have reading ledges that differ from each other and are arranged either in the centre along the diametral plane of the channel for the key or in parallel with displacement by certain distances relative to it, which are designed for reading of cuts (17, 18) at the narrow side/narrow sides (15) of the key. Besides, at least at one side of the channel for the key there are approximately parallel openings for middle pins with spring-loaded pre-pressed middle pins (6) moved in them, which have reading cams (9) protruding into the channel for the key and ending at a certain distance from the diametral plane for reading of cuts (16) at the edge/edges of the narrow side/narrow (15) sides of the key. Besides, the distance of the reading cams from the diametral plane is more than the distance from the diametral plane of the reading ledges of cylinder pins arranged as displaced to the left or to the right from it.
