FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valve engineering and is intended for protecting objects from exceeding the permissible pressure of the working medium. The safety apparatus includes a safety valve consisting of a body with inlet and outlet branch pipes, a cover, an unloaded shutoff element pressed by a setting spring, controlled by the working medium of the protected object of a piston drive, the piston whereof is connected by a rod with the shutoff element of the valve and is in contact with the setting spring, and two bursting disks installed between the protected object and the safety valve. The body of the valve is made angular. An insert is located between the body and the cover, located wherein is the piston of the drive, in the rod whereof a discharge channel is made. The shutoff element of the safety valve, due to the presence of a discharge channel and the equality in the areas of the piston and the shutoff element, only responds to a change in the working pressure on one side of the piston, acting as a sensing element.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the speed of activation of the safety apparatus when using an angular body.
