SUBSTANCE: use: for acoustic control of the weld coupling a blade with a turbomachine turbine disk. The substance of the invention consists in exciting the intrinsic resonant oscillations of the blade airfoil, reading the acoustic response, followed by digitising the received acoustic response, determining the frequency spectral characteristic of the digitised acoustic response by the fast Fourier transform method, wherein the resonant frequencies are determined, corresponding to the maxima of the spectral characteristic for predetermined frequency ranges of the spectral characteristic, obtained by the fast Fourier transform, of the digitised acoustic response of the resonant oscillations of the blade airfoil, the defect level of the weld is estimated based on the results of calculations of a pretrained artificial neural network using the precalculated resonant frequencies corresponding to the maxima of predetermined frequency ranges of the spectral characteristic of the digitised acoustic response as input parameters.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the defect level of the article.
