in which X is N, CH, CF, CCl or CCH₃; R¹ is OR^1', in which R^1' is H, C₁-C₈-alkyl or C₇-C₁₀-arylalkyl; R² is C₁-C₄-alkoxygroup, when X is N, or R² is Cl, when X is CH, CF, CCl or CCH₃; R³ and R⁴ are independently hydrogen, C₁-C₆-alkyl or C₁-C₆-alkoxygroup; Ar is:

where X₁ is Br, I, ethynyl, CF₂H, OCF₂H, CN or NO₂; provided that X₁ is not CN, when X is N, CCl or CCH₃; or its N-oxide, or agriculturally acceptable salt has herbicidal activity.

EFFECT: proposed heterocyclic nitrogen-containing compound of the formula (I) provides for combating a wide range of weeds, selectivity, minimal damage to agricultural crop, stability of storage, ease of use, significant activity relatively to weeds.
