The method for forming an energy-efficient track of an operated vehicle when the vehicle is moving along a section of the path that includes a mandatory deceleration point consists in performing the stages of collecting primary data, collecting secondary data, forming the calculated track of the second vehicle based on the received track of the first vehicle. The formation of the track of the first vehicle consists in performing the stages of forming the speed profile of the first vehicle on the traveled section of the path, evaluating the energy efficiency of the first vehicle on the traveled section of the path. Data on the mandatory deceleration point includes one of and/or a combination of: data on the mandatory deceleration point on a section of track adjacent to or intersecting with another section of track, data on the mandatory deceleration point on a section of track containing an infrastructure element of the section of track regulating the movement of vehicles on the section of track, data on the point mandatory deceleration on a section of the path containing a traffic sign limiting the speed of vehicles on the section of the path, data on the point of mandatory deceleration on the section of the path, containing an obstacle.

EFFECT: increased energy efficiency of vehicle movement is achieved.
