FUEL STORAGE TANK CONTAINING ONE CAPACITIVE MEDIUM INTERFACE LEVEL SENSOR Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B65D90/48 G01F23/26

Abstract RU 2771630 C1

FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and is intended for measuring the media interface levels in various branches of industry. Fuel storage tank comprises one capacitive sensor of the media interface level, containing a sensing element constituting a body for electrodes, constituting a metal profile formed by interconnecting multiple tubes. Each tube of the profile comprises, on the side thereof adjacent to the measured medium, a slot aligned with said corresponding vent on the side surface along the axis. The body for electrodes comprises electrodes rigidly fixed in each of the tubes of the profile, constituting metal tubes with the same linear capacity, but different in length. The main electrode is made with a length primarily equal to the length of the body for electrodes, and each compensation electrode is made with a length less than the length of the main electrode. The sensing element of the sensor is configured to be connected with the base of the capacitive media interface level sensor through the holes for the mounts of the sensor body. The main electrode and each compensation electrode are configured to be connected with the electronic computing unit of the sensor by means of metal rods connected with embedded sleeves connected with the holes for the embedded sleeves of the sensor body.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability and manufacturability of the structure and, as a result, increase in the accuracy of measurements of the media interface level.
