FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology and can be used to control the size and concentration of mechanical foreign particles in various products, in particular on the inner surface of the glass tubes of reed switches. The device for monitoring foreign particles in reed switch glass tubes contains a glass tube attachment unit, a laser light source irradiating the inner volume of the glass tube, and a system for monitoring light scattered by particles in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the glass tube, while the laser radiation has a power of 3.0-5.0 mW and is directed along the axis of the glass tube, the wavelength of the radiation is 600-650 nm, while at the entrance of the radiation into the glass tube in a plane perpendicular to its axis, there is a diaphragm having a circular hole, the center of which is located on the axis of the glass tube, in this case, the diameter of the diaphragm opening is equal to the diameter of the inner cross-section of the glass tube.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of the control of foreign particles inside the glass tubes of reed switches.
