FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: device has a diaphragm rotatably mounted between the emitter and shutter, rotation about the diaphragm rotation axis being permissible within a given angle. Diaphragm rotation axis is shifted aside in parallel to the emitter optical axis for some distance not less than 1.1 of laser beam diameter. Diaphragm opening outline has the form of closed envelope of a family of circles which diameters are growing smaller taking the values from laser beam diameter to zero, their centers being spaced along an arc of a circle having its radius equal to the distance from the rotation axis of the diaphragm to the emitter axis. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy in controlling emitted laser radiation power within the physiologically permissible limits. 3 dwg
